Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will support the New Jersey Autism Center of Excellence. Administrative duties include assisting with the planning and implementation of NJACE events, assisting in the development and maintenance of NJACE social media and mailing lists, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, maintain detailed records of NJACE activities and outcomes, scheduling and taking notes during meetings.
Essential Job Functions
- Answering phone calls
- Scheduling and taking notes at meetings
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of NJACE social media and mailing lists
- Maintaining files, records, and outcomes.
- Completes tasks and provides coverage as required.
- Other activities as directed by Supervisor.
Formal Education and Job-Related Experience
- High School diploma required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word , Outlook , Excel and PowerPoint .
- Excellent communication, organization and follow through; Excellent time management skills, ability to work well with a variety of organizations and personnel with compassion, tact, and clarity.
- Two years experience as Administrative Assistant or equivalent preferred.

Work with internal and external stakeholders, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and other CSH staff, collaborators, researchers, patients, and family members.
