We are looking for a Travel System Support Officer to join in the team in Broadbeach!

In this role, the Travel System Support Officer will be supporting our Manila-based load team and the travel management systems critical to our operations. Responsibilities will involve regular collaboration with sales consultants, product teams, external product/content loaders, and system developers to ensure efficient management of system functionality, product offerings, and customer-facing aspects.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support for all operations related to our Travel Systems, which are utilized for selling omni-channel products (Travel Centre, Online, and Wholesale).
A day in the life...
- Lead and manage the travel system support team and product load team, ensuring adherence to priorities, policies, procedures, key performance metrics, and required standards
- Oversee and manage travel management systems, including performance, configuration, security, updates, support, and maintenance
- Provide technical assistance and undertake technical project roles as required
- Serve as an escalation point for support for all Travel Systems used by the company
- Manage service desk tickets, prioritizing systematically to minimize backlog and ensure operational efficiency
- Guide employees in understanding and utilizing the travel system effectively
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees to familiarize them with travel management systems.
- Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with key suppliers in a professional manner
- Oversee, support, and prioritize product load requests/entries made by our product teams
- Perform and/or ensure quality testing and associated processes for all contracts and products loaded across our travel-related systems
- Oversee the performance, priorities, and staffing requirements of our product load team base in Manila
- Ensure all documentation relating to Travel Systems is kept up to date
Who you are...
- Ability and experience leading technical support teams
- Ability to oversee team members located overseas
- Proficient knowledge and experience in travel booking platforms and relevant software applications
- Proven experience in managing Travel Systems or related technical support roles
- Familiarity with travel policies and industry best practices
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality service
