POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
Moss' Administrative Assistant provides support to employees and office visitors by handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides general administrative assistance ensuring efficiency within the daily workflow and operations of the office
- In addition to administrative support, this role will be responsible for reception duties such as fielding inbound calls, greeting, and directing visitors as needed
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results
- Makes travel arrangements, reservations, and processes expense reports as needed
- Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail
- Maintains office supply inventory to include placing, expediting and stocking of supplies; must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Exercises sound and accurate judgment by including the appropriate people in the decision-making process and displaying a willingness to make decisions
- Demonstrates dependability when following instructions, responding to management direction, and completing tasks in a timely manner or notifying appropriate person with an alternate plan
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Ability to collaborate and communicate well with all team members including field staff and upper management
- Possess a strong work ethic and exercise a high level of maturity with a positive attitude
- Adapts to and deals with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
- Asks for and offers help when needed
- Displays accuracy and thoroughness in the quality management of their work
- Exhibits basic verbal communication skills by listening and getting clarification when necessary and responding well to questions
- Demonstrates consistent attendance and punctuality
- Perform other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum 2 years of administrative assistant experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
