Administrative Assistant, Per Diem, Mmc

Responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation for the administrative duties for the Non-invasive Cardiology Department. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the cardiology concepts to help organize meetings with outside vendors. Effectively communicates via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Organizes and schedules meetings and appointments, maintains contact list, and answers phone calls.
2. Produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
3. Assists with appointment confirmations, testing authorizations.
4. Develops and maintains a filing system. Able to use PC, EPIC applications, fax.
5. Assists with ordering supplies, supply distribution.
6. Provides general support to visitors and provides information by answering questions and requests.
7. Screens and triages incoming phone calls.
8. Provides outstanding customer service, professional appearance, organized, strong communication skills.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Administration or relevant area.
Preferred:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
