Administrative Assistant
Our client is a growing, family owned and operated manufacturing company in the Vineland area. They are seeking a Part time Human Resources Assistant to assist with various with administrative duties. This position is an onsite role at their Vineland facility.
Responsibilities:
Assist in processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain payroll records, track employee hours, and address payroll-related inquiries.
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations, introducing them to company policies, procedures, and culture.
Assist in preparing onboarding documents, including employment contracts, benefits enrollment forms, and other relevant materials.
Maintain HR records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Prepare and update HR documents, including employment letters, termination notices, and other HR-related correspondence.
Assist with the maintenance of personnel files and employee records.
Address basic employee inquiries, providing support and guidance as needed.
Collaborate with the HR team to create a positive work environment and resolve minor workplace issues.
Compliance and Reporting
Requirements:
Proven experience in HR administration or a related field is preferred.
Basic understanding of payroll processes and HR policies and procedures.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in using HR software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.
