Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to multitask effectively. This position will provide administrative support to our office and assist with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Assists with ordering and maintaining the supply inventory for the department
- Record and submit documentation of all accidents involving City vehicles, while working with the Legal and Controller's department.
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Processes all invoices for department
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning
- Maintain attendance and enter payroll
- Provide support to other departments as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Google Suite is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills

Pay: $43,222.00 per year
