Job description

Facilities Maintenance Worker I

Full-Time/Non-Exempt/Great Falls

Job Summary: Oversees a variety of skilled, semi-skilled or manual work repairing and maintaining buildings, other service contracts and construction projects

Job Duties:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of long-term maintenance plans for MRWH facilities in multiple counties, grounds and real property installed equipment. Work is in Commercial and Residential buildings.
  • Performs minor maintenance of electrical, carpentry, masonry, and plumbing
  • Paints walls, woodwork, and other items to maintain appearances in line with the maintenance function.
  • Responses to Work Orders submitted by MRWH employees.
  • Moves, transports, and repairs furniture in all facilities.
  • Backup for fleet vehicles and maintenance duties.
  • Makes recommendations to supervisor for the best allocation and utilization of space management and in accordance with local, state, and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Reports to Facilities Maintenance Manager.

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge and skills necessary to perform these duties and responsibilities are typically acquired through high school graduation and one year of job-related experience. Ability to lift 50 lbs. is required. Travel required. Must be proficient in Word and Excel. Must have a personal vehicle, current vehicle insurance, and valid driver’s license.
