We are currently seeking a full-time on-site Lead Administrative Assistantin our College of Science.This position manages all administrative functions of the college and closely assists the college’s dean. Please include a cover letter when applying. Pay for this position is $23.78.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all administrative functions.
- Coordinate, attend, and document meetings.
- Maintain databases, provide reports, and administer college-level scholarships.
- Communicate, facilitate, and assist with reappointments, sabbaticals, workload reports, external review site visits, and various other processes.
- Implement, coordinate, revise, and track survey information, internal grants, and marketing/recruiting.
- Coordinate, enhance, and communicate college-level events.
- Provide support to the dean, maintain the dean’s calendar, and oversee college purchasing decisions.
- Oversee, create, and publish newsletters, website content, and social media accounts.
- Manage college’s office and supervise staff and student workers, including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining.
Required Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or GED.
- At least 4 years of office experience.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel).
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- University office experience.
- Experience with social media content and posting.
