Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Administrative Assistant to join a renowned specialty chemical company in Pedricktown, NJ! The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have the ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.
**This role is approximately 32 hours/week**
Responsibilities
- Work with HR team to execute payroll
- Ship samples to inquiring customers
- Facilitate new employee integration - setting up office, work clothes, phones & computers
- Manage records, filing and destroy documents
- Communicate with contractors about updates, changes to personal information, and overall management of their employee files
- Coordinate and plan employee appreciation events
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years of experience in professional office environment or Associate's degree in related field
- Knowledge of AP/Bookkeeping
- Proficiency with SAP, MS Office and other programs
- Ability to gather, analyze, and present data to drive continuous improvement
