What we are looking for

Aperture is looking for an experienced and people-driven HR Coordinator. In this newly created position you will provide effective administrative support for the Human Resources department by creating, streamlining and maintaining administrative processes for the department.

What you’ll do

  • Execute day-to-day HR operational processes and services with a focus on employee experience and data integrity.
  • Manage onboarding new hires (system entry, paperwork validation, background check administration, completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, etc.)
  • Prepare materials for new employee orientation.
  • Process employee changes and terminations including document generation, notifications, and HR systems updates while analyzing employee data.
  • Support recruitment activities by receiving approved job requisitions, posting positions, and scheduling interviews.
  • Provide assistance to employees on HR related questions and concerns.
  • Track and administer HR programs including, employee leaves, awards, referral bonuses, etc.
  • Prepare and run reports in ADP.
  • Maintain personnel files, active and terminated.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You will Work on and Who You’ll Work With

In this role you will work very closely with the HR team to serve Aperture employees and support full- cycle HR activities. You’ll play a critical role in developing trusted relationships with employees and managers alike. You’ll focus heavily on continuous process improvement to create a seamless employee and candidate experience. You’ll work very closely with the Warehouse and Customer Service Managers and Directors in each company locations as needed.

What you bring

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting HR People Operations and processes in a fast-paced organization with a firm understanding of the employee lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) – ADP required.

  • Ability to communicate proactively with the Human Resources Director regarding HR related opportunities to support the business.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving ability.
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to work with interruptions.
  • Strong ability to prioritize between multiple competing priorities.
  • Thrive in a self-directed/motivated entrepreneurial environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to interpret and solve tactical problems and issues from experience or using a variety of resources.
  • Microsoft Office experience to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to travel 10%.
