Job description

Independent Living Partners (ILPS) is seeking an experienced and driven HR & Compliance Manager to join our growing team. ILPS is a Person-Centered social services Agency. One of the cool things about this position is you will be helping our community members access the community for healthcare, socialization, and essential needs. It is a rewarding position. Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of HR & Office tasks
  • Review candidate applications on job boards (indeed, ZipRecruiter)
  • Complete phone screening with job candidates and schedule interviews with them
  • Onboard new employees
  • Train employees in completing timesheets correctly
  • Audit new employees’ timecards for accuracy (%)
  • Work with billing specialist to prepare employees send their timesheets on time
  • Assist billing specialist with billing issues
  • Responsible for filing and placing employee documents in personnel files
  • Audit employee files for compliance-monthly
  • Audit client files for compliance-monthly
  • Transition workers & clients to EVV app login/logout
  • Run background checks
  • Review and respond to MNUI notices

General duties

  • Provide assistance for program directors, supervisors and empoyees
  • Assist with all aspects of payroll administration including employment verification, child supports & other employees' related notices and documents

General Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great patience for individuals suffering from pain and mental health
  • Experience with disability Programs & Services
  • Experience with working case managers and care coordinators

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • HR Manager: 2 years (Preferred)
  • office suites: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Professional In Human Resources (Preferred)
