POSITION SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, the HR Coordinator II provides administrative support for team members with compensation, benefits, training, employment, labor relations, affirmative action and employment equity programs, and/or personnel research.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in data entry and tracking of team member forms
- Assists in proper storage of employee records and retention
- Responds to fairly complex questions on human resources policies and procedures and works with supervisor to resolve any potential issues and grievances, etc.
- Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses
- Lead and participate on HR and company committees
- Represent company at personnel-related hearings and investigations
- Process various applications, employment forms, change forms and other confidential forms and records
- Other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High School Diploma/ GED; Associates Degree or two years of college coursework in Communications, HR, or similar field preferred but not required; experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Minimum of 12 months’ clerical experience preferred
- Must be able to work occasional weekends as needed
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Professional communication and demeanor is required
- Ability to present ideas, concepts, issues, concerns, and questions in a well thought out, positive, and professional manner to employees
- In-depth working knowledge of Employment Laws/Regulations and Human Resources policies and procedures, preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently
- Considerable skill in problem solving, conflict resolution, and dealing with confidential information/situations
