Job Description
This position serves as the coordinator of various HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HR Business Partners and Total Rewards. This position is expected to maintain and promote excellent customer service for candidates, the HR team and for Wings employees of all levels.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Assist employees with their questions or refers them to subject matter experts in HR/L&D
- Coordinates activities/requirements of candidates throughout the talent acquisition life cycle
- Coordinates new employee onboarding activities and new hire orientation with new employees, hiring managers, and Learning & Development
- Assist with off-boarding activities
- Coordinates the enrollment of credit union employees into the SAFE Act
- Maintains employee file management
- Communicates all new hires, employee changes, and employee separations to necessary internal departments
- Data entry into payroll system for all new hires, employee changes, and employee separations
- Coordinates health and wellness activities and events with Total Rewards
- Provides COVID resources for employees and managers
- Assist in recognition and rewards administration
- Coordinates department scheduling for meetings and coordinates HR events
Qualifications
- Two years’ experience in an administrative, human resource, education and development or similar role.
- Strong administrative skills with a focus on accuracy
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy.
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient and/or able to quickly learn payroll/human resource information systems and related HR platforms.
- Effective prioritization of multiple concurrent projects and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of quality and service.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
