Job Title:HR Administrative Assistant

Summary
Under the guidance of the Human Resources Supervisor, the Human Resources Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Collaborate with the HR Generalist in tasks like resume screening, coordinating phone interviews, and managing the entire recruitment process.
- Execute various employee checklist tasks, including new hires, terminations, and transfers.
- Complete I-9 Forms, verify documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
- Handle clerical functions, such as photocopying, mailing, scanning, emailing documents, and maintaining both hard copy and electronic employee files.
- Assist in preparing correspondence and conduct exit interviews, sharing feedback with the HR team.
- Manage calendars and conference rooms, scheduling and attending meetings, taking notes, and recording minutes.
- Perform general office tasks, including record-keeping, supply ordering, and other basic administrative duties.
- Assist with internal communications for employees and contribute to special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficient in HRIS systems, particularly ADP, and experience with compiling data for Payroll and Benefit reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in handling all employment matters.
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree or High school diploma, GED required.
- At least 2 years of related experience in HR administrative roles.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a desirable qualification.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
