Job Description:
Baltimore based contractor is seeking an Administrative Assistant to assist the estimating department with all facets of the bidding process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks to support the Estimating Department consisting of 1 Chief Estimator and 5 full time Estimators
- Maintain various bid logs, calendars and subcontractor and vendor data bases
- Assist with prequalification packages
- Download various bidding documents
- Communicate directly with subcontractors, vendors, owners architects and engineers
- Distribute invitations to bid and perform follow up communications
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify and organize various bidding documents
- Strong ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure to meet established deadlines
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
