SUMMARY:
Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Reports Directly To: Chief Operations Officer
Location: Voices Of Hope Main Office
Pay Range: $18 - $25 Depending on experience.
SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient functioning of the organization and support of the executive team. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks, such as managing correspondence, organizing meetings and events, maintaining HR files, processing employee payroll and benefits. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant may assist with fundraising activities, donor communication, and other tasks related to the organization's mission and vision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Managing communication including support of phone calls, office visits, and responding to email.
2. Assists with receipt collection, recording and reporting.
3. Assists in the organization of special events, including donor/volunteer appreciation events and other fundraising initiatives.
4. Prepares accurate records and reports.
5. Ability to take notes and create records.
6. Any duties assigned that may be deemed necessary, if within the scope of the AA skill set.
7. Manages the Document Control System including keeping it up to date and organized.
8. Onboarding and Offboarding of employee benefits
9. Organizes and manages Human Resource Management systems
10. Oversees organization payroll systems are operating efficiently and accurately.
11. Submits and documents weekly employee payroll
12. Assists Financial Administrative Assistant in financial tasks
13. Assists COO and ED on Administrative Tasks assigned within the Administrative Assistant skill set.
14. Represents VoH internally and externally.
15. Conducts duties as a role model of professionalism, compassion, empathy, ethics and responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

1. Knowledge of behavioral health disorders, recovery and community.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Preferred Administrative Assistance experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written. Proficiency with the English language, both written and oral. Fluency in Spanish is desirable.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: Measurable progress toward Certified Peer Recovery Specialist credential.

Extensive walking and standing is required of this position for special events.
