       Duration: June 10th - September 6th, 2024 - Potential for Extension after initial duration

       Hours: Monday to Friday - Must be able to commit to full 40 hours per week

       Compensation: $18/hr

 

Overview  

In the ever-changing communications arena, we're looking for data and intelligence professionals to join Edelman Data & Intelligence (DXI). Designed to propel your career in data science and Predictive Analytics, we are looking for Recent Graduates to take part in our 2024 Summer Internship. In addition to receiving direct mentoring within your capability area, interns will have exposure to other business areas to enhance their professional and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Use a range of data science and analytics techniques to identify insights for our clients and inform decision-making.
• Consolidate, clean, and re-structure data from multiple disparate sources to prepare them for analytics.
• Assist with crafting stories from analytical insights and preparing client-facing materials.
• Manage assigned tasks to the project schedule and coordinate with others regarding prioritization.
• Collaborate with client and internal teams to learn about business needs and solution design.
• Working knowledge of regression analysis.
• Working knowledge of a statistical programming language such as R or Python.

Basic Qualifications:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative discipline or working towards a postgraduate degree.
• You must be interested in communications, marketing, or analytics and possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with others. 
• You must be able to work a full-time, 40 hour/week schedule and be in one of the listed offices on a hybrid basis. 

Additional Information:

• Interns are paid $18/ hour and are expected to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/ week)
• The internship program will be hybrid-approximately 3 days/week in office
• Edelman does not provide any form of housing reimbursement 
• Only students who are authorized to work in the United States will be considered 

$18 - $18 an hour

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
