Requirements -
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, dental receptionist, or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Excellent customer service/people skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in calendar management and scheduling software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to be flexible with your schedule
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent
Duties -
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients
- Manage and maintain calendars for multiple team members
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Communicate with clients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Utilize phone systems to transfer calls and take messages accurately
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents and medical records
