Medical Specialty Scheduling Coordinator/Receptionist

Requirements -

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist, dental receptionist, or in a similar customer service role is preferred
• Excellent customer service/people skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Proficient in calendar management and scheduling software
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Willingness to be flexible with your schedule
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• High school diploma or equivalent

Duties -

• Schedule and coordinate appointments for patients
• Manage and maintain calendars for multiple team members
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Communicate with clients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Utilize phone systems to transfer calls and take messages accurately
• Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents and medical records
