Dental office looking for the right person to join our front desk team and be part of our growing practice. We are a VERY BUSY office. We are seeking someone that has a desire to learn front office and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate needs to be service-minded with an outstanding personality and the capacity to handle busy day-to-day tasks. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, eager to learn, reliable team player capable of performing the following tasks:
Roles and responsibilities:
- Patient’s first point of contact (greeting at door, sign in, positive patient interaction, answering questions).
- Scheduling and confirming appointments in person and by phone.
- Entering patient information into the office system (updating patient files when necessary).
- Insurance verification/knowledge of insurance.
- Collect and post payments.
- Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans to patients.
- Discuss financial arrangements with patients.
- Answering telephones and making phone calls to schedule patients.
- Balance and close the end of day reports and all other duties as assigned.
- Interacting with dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, billing, office staff and patients daily.
- Understanding basic dental procedures.

Preferred skills/qualifications:
- One- to two-years-plus of experience working with patients.
- Basic dental knowledge.
- Experience using computers, Google Docs/Drive, MS Office.
- Understanding of insurance procedures and claims is preferred.
