What you’ll do
The Scheduling Coordinator position is to schedule team members to best meet the needs of the residents and to assist with general clerical support in an efficient manner in accordance with established procedures, and as directed by your supervisor.
- Create, distribute and maintain schedules for team members in accordance with established deadlines.
- Assist with emergency scheduling needs.
- Maintain team member availability records.
- Maintain accurate database of team members including demographics, needs, preferences, and attendance.
- Monitor, report and coordinate staffing needs with management and in accordance with the budget.
- Monitor and manage overtime hours.
- Assist management with retention efforts.
- Support team members during their onboarding and orientation.
- Work collaboratively with management and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of timecards.
- Monitor the hours of team members to ensure that employment status requirements are being met.
- Perform general secretarial and administrative duties as required or directed.
What it takes
- Minimum of one (1) year administrative support experience.
- College and/or secretarial training desired.
- Scheduling experience preferred.
- Must posses excellent computer skills.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must demonstrate being dependable and flexible.
