- Maintain strong client relations and ensure that convention specifications are communicated and executed for a successful meeting experience.
- Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through various efforts to maximize room revenue and meet & exceed goals
- Develop Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s), floor plans and Group Resumes in adherence with policies & procedures.
- Coordinate all logistics for meeting rooms including room set-up, food & beverage and audio visual equipment.
- Drive Catering Revenues by up-selling products & services
- Communicate with Banquets, Front Office & Kitchen in order to coordinate and monitor special convention needs.
- Develops proposals, qualifies customers, and prepares contracts.
- Reports product quality feedback to the Director of Convention & Catering Sales.
- Maintains accurate, legible records and files to provide group history to ensure future and current quality service and enhance future proposals.
- Follows all EVEN hotel & Convention Center policies and procedures on files, traces & account follow-up.
- Ability to help change and set function space as required in an emergency. Ability to move tables and chairs if requested, assist in decorating function rooms as required.
