Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients
- Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks
- Verify insurance coverage and process necessary paperwork
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar patient service role
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks
- Knowledge of medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
