Systems Administrator (Hybrid)

Remotion Solutions is looking for a candidate for our client in the economics field. Our client, a prominent consultancy firm specializing in economics, seeks a dedicated individual to join their IT team. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting, safeguarding, and innovating their IT infrastructure to meet their unique needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software, monitoring system performance, managing user accounts and permissions, performing backups, implementing security measures, and collaborating with other IT professionals to resolve technical issues. Additionally, you will provide technical support to end-users, conduct system upgrades and migrations, and develop documentation for system configurations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.

- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.

- Implement and maintain information security measures.

- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve technical problems.

- Provide technical support to end-users.

- Conduct system upgrades and migrations.

- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of relevant experience.

- Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems and patch management.

- Scripting or programming experience (PowerShell, Python) is advantageous.

- Self-starter attitude with strong resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Strong customer service skills, including effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent prioritization and time management abilities.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
