Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various financial tasks including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), deposits, invoicing, preparing income and balance sheet statements, and paying taxes to the state of Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process deposits and invoicing accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare income and balance sheet statements
- Submit sales taxes to the state of Michigan
- Coordinate with external third party to ensure accurate processing of employee P/R hours
- Ensure timely payment of P/R taxes to the state of Michigan
Requirements:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Prior experience in bookkeeping
Benefits:

- Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on education and experience
