Bookkeeper

Our client in Brighton seeking a part time, work from home Bookkeeper! This position would primarily be 12-16 hours per week with extra hours at the end of the month! The employee will at first train in their office in Brighton and then come into the office once a week or every two-weeks for meetings. The client will provide a laptop and all necessary equipment! Pay is based on experience ($20-$26/hour).
Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Run Employee Payroll
- Provide support during audits and tax preparation
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software
