Mission Ceviche Union Square is looking for a skilled and experienced Sushi Chefto join their team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to guests. If you are passionate about sushi and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this opportunity could be perfect for you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Help with menu planning and development of new sushi dishes
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a restaurant or sushi bar setting
- Excellent knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and presentation
- Strong understanding of food handling, food service, and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of menu planning and ability to create new sushi dishes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
- Ability to work well within a team
