Bookkeeper

Job Overview:
Part-time Bookkeeper

Flexible hours, approximately 20-25 hours per week. Full range of accounting responsibilities including A/R, A/P, payroll and end of month bank and credit card reconciliations for a private golf club. Competitive hourly rate, $23 to $29 per hour, depending on experience. Some of the work can be done remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable by processing vendor invoices, issuing checks and keeping accurate records

• Record payments from members

• Prepare bi-weekly payroll data for submission to payroll service

• Reconcile bank and credit cards every month

• Enter all data into industry specific accounting software

• Prepare monthly financial statements

Skills / Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience with bookkeeping

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

• Working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to problem solve and work independently

• The ability to learn the AAGOC accounting software program

Job Type: Part-time

Experience:

• QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online: 4 years

• Accounting software other than QuickBooks: 2 years (Preferred)

• bookkeeping: 4 years (Preferred)

• Restaurant and point of sale experience a plus

Education:

• Associate degree in accounting

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
