The Athletics Department is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator. This position will assist with the coordination of all official and unofficial visits (i.e. the official visit pre and post compliance paperwork; work in conjunction with both football operations and recruiting (i.e. food, hotels, and facilities) and academic faculty at Georgia State University.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Assist with on-campus recruiting.
- Assist in pregame recruiting functions and ticket allocation at all 6 home games.
- Support the recruiting department with recruiting events, weekends, junior days, etc.
- Assists with summer camps (June).
- Help to organize student workers and ambassadors for recruiting visits and events.
- Assists with maintaining recruiting database using Jump Forward.
- Provide tours of the athletic facilities and campus when potential recruits and their families visit Georgia State.
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Arrange travel and accommodations and prepare travel reimbursements for coaching staff.
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and one year administrative experience; or high school diploma or GED and five years administrative experience; or a combination of education and related experience
