SUMMARY
An Audit Manager holds a leadership position for individuals with advanced educational preparation and/or experience in accounting, financial statement preparation, and auditing. The Audit Manager candidate has demonstrated supervisory expertise and is now taking on responsibilities for engagements while continuing to strengthen client relationships. This role entails managing a portfolio of engagements involving the examination and analysis of accounting systems to determine clients' financial status. Additionally, it involves preparing financial reports related to operating procedures. This position may require travel.

· Develop and mentor staff.
· Ensure that engagements are properly planned and executed.
· Oversee the preparation of reports and findings on financial conditions.
· Collaborate directly with clients to address their business and accounting needs.
· Gather sufficient relevant data to draw reasonable conclusions for all provided services.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in accounting from a regionally accredited college or university.
· Five to eight years of Public Accounting experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
· Active state Certified Public Accountant license or equivalent recognized by the firm (e.g., Chartered Professional Accountant) required.
· Active driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Governmental (State Universities & Colleges, School Districts, Counties, Healthcare Districts, Housing Finance Authorities, Municipalities, State Agencies, Transportation Authorities, and Utility Authorities).
