Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support for OILS business operations, the OILS Operations Manager, and OILS staff.
- Performing administrative task in support of the complaint response and disciplinary activities according to the Uniform Disciplinary Act (UDA), RCW 18.130 and disclosure of records pursuant to the Public Records Act, RCW 42.56.
- Performing administrative tasks in support of the general management, organization, and retention of program records in OILS.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications
Note: Experience defined below may have been gained through paid or unpaid activities.Please ensure any relevant experience defined below is outlined in your cover letter, resume, and/or applicant profile.
- Two (2) or more years of secretarial or administrative experience within a high-production environment and professional office setting.
AND
- Word processing software, such as MS Word, to create, format, edit, preview, print and save documents; use standard functions to select, edit, copy, paste, format, and spell check text.
- Electronic communication and calendar programs, such as MS Outlook to compose, send, and respond to electronic mail, and coordinate schedules, and schedule meetings.
- Electronic database system to update and/or maintain records.
- Internet to access, research, find, and download information.
- Spreadsheet software, such as MS Excel to create, modify, print, and format spreadsheets, find and replace data, work with basic formulas, and filter and sort data.
Desired Skills & Preferred Experience
- Progressively responsible administrative or secretarial experience in the legal or regulatory field.
- Demonstrated proficiency with HSQA Integrated Licensing and Regulatory System (ILRS).
- Demonstrated experience working in a complex organizational structure.
- Demonstrated experience formatting and proofreading complex documents.

The Office of Investigative and Legal Services (OILS) supports the agency and division mission by implementing licensing or discipline procedures, including investigating authorized complaints and providing legal assessments for health and health-related professionals and businesses as required under the Washington Uniform Disciplinary Act, RCW 18.130.

Conditions of Employment/Working Conditions
With or without an accommodation, I am willing and able to:
- Work Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., but willing to occasionally adjust work-schedule to meet business needs, which may include evenings and weekends. A flexible work schedule will be considered upon request and supervisor approval.
- Travel statewide and out of state when necessary to perform the core functions of this position. This may require overnight or multiple nights lodging.
- Move or transport boxes of files weighing as much as 30 pounds.
- Legally operate a state- or privately-owned vehicle OR provide alternative transportation while on state business.
- Participate in emergency response exercises and emergency events/high-priority assignments, as assigned.
