As our Accountant you will play an important role in the day-to-day operations along with your colleagues in the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities
- Post charges: UOE charges, fines, and other misc. fees.
- Account adjustments: remove and or credit charges as requested.
- Reconcile bank statements for operating and reserve accounts.
- Process AR refund check requests when necessary.
- Update delinquency status and create collection account.
- Process monthly statement mailings.
- Review proofs and inform PM/Assistants for approval.
- Set up association for mailings.
- Minimum 2 years experience with Accounts Receivable and/or accounts payable.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to pass a Background check
