We have an opportunity for a highly motivated, customer service-oriented, and well-organized professional to grow their career as a Client Services and Accounts Receivable Specialist, located at our company headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois.

Responsibilities:
- Process daily cash applications involving deposits, adjustments, write-offs, refunds, etc.
- Prepare, research and post daily desktop deposits
- Assist and/or handle various Accounts Receivable (AR) research for resolutions
- Support AR Inbox with various AR related requests and actions items
- Initiate contact with clients to confirm status of outstanding invoices and obtain payment ETA
- Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices until payment resolution
- Confirm necessary requests are completed and addressed
- Document & maintain proper communication history on invoice payment status for feedback to internal managers & supervisors
- Identify & communicate potential Client Services concerns and facilitating proactive intervention steps
- Perform general administrative functions, including research, data entry, e-filing, scanning, etc.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in cash application/Client Services or a similar role
- Strong service orientation and ability to deal professionally and courteously with internal and external clients
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Detail-oriented nature with a high capacity for learning and retaining knowledge
- Team player who works proactively, takes initiative in solving problems and takes actions beyond normal responsibilities
- Ability to coordinate with other departments on client-related matters
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and ability to apply them to daily workload
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Prior experience with Deltek Vision a plus
Physical Requirements:

This position requires visual acuity and listening ability along with the ability to read and write. Individuals must have the dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computer, printer, fax, copier, telephone, voice mail system, and other office equipment. Position mainly involves working at a desk and requires the ability to remain for extended periods at a workstation.
Annual starting base salary (gross): $48,000 - $66,000. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.
