Job Description
The GBS US Finance Lease Income Accounting team has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Specialist to develop an array of knowledge related to real estate activities within the McDonald's system. In this role, you will be working with not only your accounting team members, but cross-functionally as well.
General Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and approving Contract Team’s notice memos and contracts
- Providing consistent support and oversight to our partners on Tenant / Franchisee Site Cash Application inquiries
- Providing support for monthly AR close
- Working on various rent calculations and sales reporting
- Reviewing the accuracy of appropriate trial balance accounts
- Ensuring SOX and company policy compliance related to real estate accounting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a group/team setting
- Strong analytical skills are highly preferred
- Attention to detail is a must
- Continuous improvement mindset
