This is a Colorado-based position working in our office.
2-10 Home Buyers Warranty is a leading home warranty provider in the U.S.; serving the protection needs of new home builders and owners of new and existing homes. Responsibilities:
- Open HBW mail, date stamp, bar code, verify builder number
- Sort HBW mail into the appropriate contract type and area to prepare for batching
- Batch HBW mail to prepare for HBW Operations Team
- Scan checks into Laserfiche
- Prepare daily deposit
- Prepare triple balance report
- Take incoming calls through the Cash Management Queue
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred
- Must be well organized and a self-starter
- Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook & 10-key by touch, Great Plains experience a plus
- Ability to type 60-65 wpm
- Basic 10-key skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
- Heavy customer service experience, call center environment is preferred
- Must commit to a set schedule with occasional overtime
