This role is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, with 3 days per week onsite in our amazing Loveland, CO office and 4-5 days working remote/at home. Hach offers a very comprehensive package of benefits, that start on day one.
Reporting to the Account Payable/Account Receivable (AP/AR) Senior Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for protecting Hach’s investment in Accounts Receivable by making accurate and timely credit and collections decisions. Will conduct analysis and provide recommendations on Hach’s top revenue accounts by considering the customer’s financial condition.
Duties:
Manage and maintain the receivables and credit limits for the top revenue accounts (managed, key, corporate & distributor accounts) in an assigned region up to $1.5M
Work closely with sales force and other departments to maximize cash flow by ensuring adherence to company credit and collection policies
Reduce daily sales outstanding (DSO), backlog and percent delinquent
Provide documentation to customers as required and resolve account discrepancies promptly and accurately
Review major orders and contracts to ensure minimal company risk; recommend & coordinate changes as required with customer and company sales department
Monitor, evaluate and communicate changes in credit risk for assigned portfolio of accounts; recommend changes in terms or credit limits
Analyze financial statements, Dun & Bradstreet reports, Business Credit USA, credit applications and other credit reports to establish new accounts and appropriate lines of credit. As required, review & analyze orders on credit hold to determine creditworthiness
Compile, analyze & publish monthly department reports including DSO, bad debt, credit holds and unapplied cash.
On an annual basis, diligently review audited financial statements for all top revenue generating accounts; evaluate risk and recommend credit limit adjustments to promote sales or protect Hach’s investment
Requirements:
2-3 years international credit & collections experience
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word)
Strong time management & prioritization skills
Strong communication skills (verbal & written) and with high degree of tact and diplomacy
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting
Thorough understanding of accounting principles
Oracle software experience
International credit & collections experience
- The salary range for this role is $48,00-$56,00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
- This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
