SalaryPosition Summary
Provide administrative support to the Receiving Department, assuring the accurate and timely processing of all vendor and internal receipts.
Responsibilities
- Assure accuracy of packing lists, BOL for all receipts.
- Process and create paperwork to receive goods.
- Print labels for incoming shipments.
- Review receiving paperwork for accuracy with drivers and verify seals for all incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Analyze discrepancies and generate discrepancy report. Process receipt of all correct goods.
- Process UPS ground.
- Print and perform all associate tasks with ASNs and BOL’s.
- Provide packing list and request as needed for additional documentation.
- Prepare all freight claims paperwork to submit to Inventory Control Department.
- Update all appropriate trackers and logs daily.
- Assure accuracy of cartons being received along with all safety and compliance regulations.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Serve as a member of the Distribution Center team and help in all areas of the DC as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills: demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and Word; e-mail; WMS.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift (up to 60 pounds).
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; must be able to prioritize. High volume workload.
- Oral communication skills; good telephone skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of office practices and protocols.
- Interpersonal skills: demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.
- Knowledge of UPS and FedEx system is not required but a plus.
- Needs to be certified Cherry-Picker operator.
- Bilingual is a Plus.
