Payroll Specialist

Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team to perform our Payroll functions and various HR related activites (approximately 100 employees).

Qualifications:

• College degree
• Minimum 5 years of unsupervised payroll processing & HR experience (ADP preferred)
• Experience in multi-state payroll
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

Payroll Duties Include:

• Download, collect, review and enter weekly payroll data into ADP Resource System
• Assist in New-Hire processing
• Maintain income/deduction P/R codes
• Work closely with ADP Reps to streamline P/R processes
• Employee Liaison to Payroll questions and issues
• Produce customer requested payroll reports
• Handle governmental payroll related issues
• Other Payroll related activities

Human Resource Duties include:

• Assist with our Employee Benefit Programs (Health Insurance, Dental Program, Vacation/Sick/Personal time off, Life & Disability Insurance, UC Benefits, COBRA, etc.)
• Maintain accurate Employee files
• Assist in employee travel needs

Job Type: Flexible

Wage: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
