Job Description
We are currently seeking a Junior Financial Analyst
The selected candidate will work closely with our Budget Director and Payroll department to review the organization’s budget and other payroll and financial matters, while ensuring compliance with company, union, and federal/state and local regulations. Will assist in reviewing, preparing, running and maintaining payroll and budgeting systems; Resolve payroll related issues within the organization and attend to payroll inquiries from employee; Process bi-weekly payroll employee 403(b) contributions and employer match. Prepare payroll deductions and complete reports on biweekly/monthly basis; Participate in the preparation of annual operating budget and Develop additional comparison analysis using actual and budget historical data.
Qualifications
Must have Bachelor’s degree (or greater) from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of one (1) year experience in Payroll, Accounting or Budgeting, or similar role. Proficiency in a Payroll Software, preferably ADP, Workforce Now and E-time along with previous experience in preparing payroll, answering payroll inquiries, financial reporting and budgeting required. Experience in a unionized healthcare environment preferred.
