Full Charge Bookkeeper

What you get to do every single day
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections
- Studying and adhering to federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing reports, and detailing needed actions to management
- Tracking fixed assets to produce depreciation schedules
- Maintaining historical records by filing documents
- Assembling the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet and income and cash flow statements
- Handling monthly, quarterly and year end close, accurately and on time
- Performing reconciliations for bank and general ledgers, as well as payroll processing
- Overseeing accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers- 3 or more years of experience in the bookkeeping field
- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
- Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Knowledge of Full Charge Bookkeeping
- Well-founded grasp of Accounting Functions
- Experience with Code Invoices
- Coding Invoices experience preferred
- Full Cycle Accounting experience
- Practical knowledge of Shopify
- Proven knowledge of Accounting cycle
- General familiarity with Accounting procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of Full Charge bookkeeping
- Wide ranging experience with Quickbooks Online
- Quality experience with QuickBooks
- Excel and Peachtree experience desired
- High school diploma or equivalent required, and AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred
- Previous experience with payroll preferred
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required
- A thorough knowledge of accrual and cash basis of accounting
