We are seeking an experienced BOOKKEEPER/ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST to join our busy accounting firm providing professional accounting support to our team members, company management, and our clients.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Client accounting services through preparation of financial statements.
- Payroll preparation and various related payroll tax returns.
- Preparation of monthly accounting through financial statements.
- Ability to interact with clients and quickly resolve issues related to client's software.
- Various other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Positive attitude, strong client focus, team player.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and QuickBooks on-line (Certification a plus).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- CPA firm experience a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software and technology.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years' current experience as a full-charge bookkeeper with in professional office environment preferably in the accounting industry.
- Accounting Associates Degree or equivalent experience is required.
