Bookkeeper

```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent attention to detail, and is proficient in using accounting software.

Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all accounts
- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and identify any discrepancies or errors
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger accounts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
