```Job Summary```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
```Duties```
- Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling transactions and preparing journal entries
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Quicken to record financial transactions
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Provide support for tax preparation activities
```Experience```
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Quicken
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and bank reconciliation
- Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Previous experience in public accounting is a plus
