Part-time Bookeeper
Full Job Description
Our company is currently seeking a Bookkeeper - Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for data entry, bank reconciliations and creating word documents for our company.
Strong knowledge of Quickbooks is required.
Part time – approximately 20 hrs. per week
Responsibilities:
- Enter sales data and expense transactions in Quickbooks for multiple locations
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Maintains historical records by filing documents
- Assist with office paperwork
- Create Microsoft Word documents as required
Qualifications:
- Must have strong knowledge of Quickbooks
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and multitask
- Prior Virginia Real Estate office experience helpful
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Background:
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in bookkeeping/accounting
- Required minimum of 3 years experience in QuickBooks
- High School Graduate with additional post graduate education and/or training in the accounting/bookkeeping field
