Kadiak LLC, a Koniag Government Services Company, is seeking an Administrator-Bookkeeper with a Public Trust Clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer. This is a part-time remote opportunity with occasional travel.

Kadiak LLC, a Koniag Government Services Company, is seeking an Administrator/Bookkeeper to oversee the administrative support and distribution of funding to sites implementing the Judicial, Court, and Attorney Measures of Performance (JCAMP) under the Children’s Bureau (CB), U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF). The CB is the agency within the federal Government that is responsible for assisting child welfare systems by promoting continuous improvement in the delivery of child welfare services. The CB plans, manages, coordinates, and supports child abuse and neglect prevention and child welfare services programs.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Oversee project administrative and fiduciary responsibilities and requirements for reporting to the Project Manager and the federal partner.
  • Work directly with the JCAMP government and contract team to record and develop comprehensive documentation of project milestones and goal progression.
  • Oversee the distribution of funding to the JCAMP implementation sites.
  • Attend all meetings and check-ins for the project to advise and assist in organizing travel and other administrative responsibilities of the project.
  • Provide meeting support, to include recording minutes and creating and distributing documents to stakeholders.
  • Create documents as needed and oversee the storage and maintenance of electronic files in a shared information system.
  • Provide interface with government project stakeholders.
  • Provide overall support to the project team.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Minimum Associate of Arts degree in business administration or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in administrative accounting functions, including in accounts payable receivable.
  • 5+ years’ experience in administrative assistance, coordination, and support functions.
  • Preferred experience in tribal communities, especially tribal child welfare.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work as a member of a mixed on-site and remote team.
  • Expert-level experience using the Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Zoom.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and perform multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and act efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, while maintaining channels of communication with all stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to attain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
