Job Description:
Looking for a trusted Bookkeeper as soon as possible, knowledge of construction and building maintenance business. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to help establish from ground up and maintain organized systems for managing current and past receipts and venders, invoicing, work hours logs, and project progress logs. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing documentation for tax submissions to our CPA.
Responsibilities:
* Efficiently organize current and past receipts by month for easy reference.
* Generate accurate and timely invoices.
* Maintain detailed logs of carpenters work hours and job logs.
* Organize and manage project documents to ensure accessibility.
* Assist in preparing documents for tax submission to CPA.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Prior experience in the construction or building maintenance industry is preferred.
* Bilingual helps but not required.
Schedule and Compensation:
* Initially 2 days per week or 16+ hours, with potential monthly or bi-weekly.
* Workspace provided. Independent Contractor.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.37 - $29.35 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
