Part-Time Bookkeeper Assistant

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping activities
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments
• Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing financial data
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed

• Previous experience in general ledger accounting or bookkeeping roles preferred
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel
• Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
• Experience in private ag accounting is a plus
• Understanding of financial concepts and terminology
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule:

• 3 days a week, 24 hours.
• Flexibility to temporarily work full time during the initial training and onboarding phase may be required.
