MRC has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant at NUWC Division Newport. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing entry level administrative support. Responsibilities may include: data entry; preparing correspondence; calendar management; making conference room reservations; managing office supplies; answering phones and routing calls; proofreading documents; updating and maintaining databases/spreadsheets; placing service calls for office equipment and additional tasks upon request. This position requires tracking and maintaining various projects using Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Detail oriented, proactive and must be capable of multitasking
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Security Clearance
- Prior experience supporting programs at NUWC Division Newport a plus.
