We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our construction business. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office.
The ideal candidate must have the flexibility to work mostly part time 3 days a week 10-4 and be able to cover full time 8-4 when people in the office are put on vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Greeting and assisting visitors
- Managing calendars and scheduling appointments
- Assisting with data entry and maintaining databases
- Utilizing QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks
- Providing general administrative support to staff members
Requirements:
- Previous experience with phone systems and handling incoming calls
- Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Strong administrative and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
