Administrative Assistant For Safety & Government Sales Department

Position: Administrative Assistant for Safety Dept. and Gov’s Sales Dept.

We are seeking a responsible individual to provide administrative support to our Safety Dept. and Gov’t. Sales Dept. The ideal candidate will present a positive and professional image for our organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Use word processing and presentation software to create and edit documents.
• Input and update information in databases and spreadsheets.
• Prepare safety meeting agenda and take safety meeting minutes.
• Compile and summarize information for reports and presentations.
• Answer phone calls and emails. Respond to other digital queries and correspondence.
• Work with sensitive information and discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations.
• Maintain physical and digital filing systems.
• Receive and inspect incoming parts packages. Label packages as needed. Coordinate shipment of packages to packaging company.
• Operate and maintain office equipment, including printers and copiers.
• Work closely with other administrative staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word and Excel.
• Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years of age
• Willing to train the right individual

Education:

• High School Degree or Equivalent

Essential:

• Multi-tasks and manages time wisely
• Works independently and knows when to ask for help
• Self-Starter on projects
