Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of tasks and projects relating to organization, data entry, communication, and reporting. This position provides administrative support to Management and serves as a resource to clients, vendors, and employees.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, vendors, & employees in-person and via answering phone calls
- Provide administrative support to Office Manager, Sales/Admin Manager, Purchasing Manager, & HR Manager
- Enter customer purchase orders into QuickBooks and assist with customer follow-up
- Provide price quotes to customers
- Run weekly shipping and production reports
- Check inventory levels for availability
- Provide calendar updates for shipping & production schedules
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous experience in an office support role
- Above average Microsoft Excel proficiency
- QuickBooks proficient
- Friendly, engaging demeanor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good multitasker and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Teamwork-oriented and collaborative approach with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and exercise sound judgement
Preferred Skills:
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- Sales and/ or purchasing experience
- Previous experience in an office-based manufacturing or distribution environment
- SAP and/or ERP software experience
- Knowledge of the trailer industry
